BEHIND THE LENS

        Everyday we walk through life and see the same things, often times we overlook the beauty that surrounds us. The art of being able to take a different perspective and being able to view life in your own way is a blessing that has touched my life forever. Photography is my true passion, and being able to capture a moment in time with the click of a button is the type of magic that will always be a part of me.

        The art of being able to look through a lens and see the world like no one else does is a passion that I have grown to love. Our world is made up of so many different colors, textures, people, places, and experiences. Being able to grasp any of this beauty in a photograph is a gift that I am grateful to have.

        My name is Lindsay Kellum and I am a college student going for Business with a minor in Fine Art. I have always had an interest in art and photography, and it wasn’t until the past year that I picked up my camera and made a conscious effort to pursue my love for photography.

        My photography is filled with portraits of people that are closest to me in my life, as well as themed photo shoots that I have wardrobed and planned myself. I also have been given the opportunity to take a dip into music photography with the band Kid Felix. The rest of my work is of things that have caught my interest throughout my days whether it be flowers, shoes, benches, or anything else that catches my artistic eye. Every opportunity to shoot a different medium with different people and objects allows me to learn and grow while looking through the lens. I love trying different challenges and planning photo shoots or just wandering about with my camera.
